3.2. Where can I go to get tested?

* There are many government health facilities, NGOs and companies offering HIV tests.
* You can go to organisations such the AIDS Training, Information and Counselling Centre (ATICC) and New Start for a confidential, quick, affordable and convenient HIV test.
* You can also get tested at a public health clinic in your area. Go to www.khomanani.org.za.
* For support and information, contact the National AIDS Helpline on 0800 012 322.
* If you work for a company with a formal health programme, it may provide voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) as a service. This service could be inhouse or they will refer you to an outside provider. Your HIV test result will remain confidential and the company will not be able to see your medical records.
