11.2. Treatment
People living with HIV and AIDS should visit a healthcare facility regularly to have a CD4 count done. When your CD4 count is less than 200, you can get free ARVs from public hospitals. Visit your nearest healthcare centre for more information. Your health worker will advise you if you need to start taking ARVs. Even so, you will first be assessed for readiness before you can start taking the medication.
